Nearly there now!

Still got a bit of glassing left to do, then some filling and smoothing and painting.
Bit of Dynamat on the wheelarch side, which is only glassfibre.

The speaker hole is smaller than required. I cut it out so that I could seal the inside after fitting the front panel

Would I do it differently next time? - YES!

Was it a LOT of work? - YES!

Would I recommend anyone else to do it like I did? - NO!
Besides I like having something unique!

Oh yeah - still have to check out the speakers to make sure they are free to air and not designed for a sealed enclosure!

Whooops!

Anybody know about Sony 10" subs?????

I wouldn't worry - that's still a 'sealed' enclosure. Albeit, ported...

Thanks Dom - I'm never quite sure what the difference is anyway! And the sound waves do have to follow the baffle and up into the port. Bit like a conch shell or a horn.

Am I mad doing all this?

Dunno - I tell ya'all how it sounds eventually!

Was just looking back on this as somebody asked some questions and I realised I hadnt commented on the sound.

Its very good and I'm happy with it!  Its not a boom boom box by any means! But it compliments the rest of my system to give all the bass I need.
