yeah I wouldn't worry about it I have fitted a few factory supplied covers and there isn't really any way to do it wrong!

whats it like getting the old one off though? 

I looked at the on on my MKIV and jeez!! What a palava!!!  there are so many clips and hooks it looks easier to just replace the whole seat

not if its a one piece cover

on my MKIV its a one piece cover with lots of clips of hooks which then attach to sires placed throughout the seat back in between the foam (new fabric cover is £225 too!)

I would presume its the same on newer cars
