..especially if you have a Deep Pearl Black mk 6 GTI!....came out of the office to find some bird had sh*t over the bonnet...although it could only have been on for 2-3 hours it had started to etch into the clear coat. A quick wash revealed a mark..thankfully Megs Scratch X has taken 98% of it out..

There was me thinking the 4 coats of wax I've applied since I got it two weeks ago would prevent this...although I definitely think it helped save it a bit..

I did promise myself after my DPB mk5 GTI that I'd never get another black car...then you see it all polished up and brings a smile to ones face

I know how you feel mate.  I washed and polished mine today only to find about an hour later that a great big gull had sh*t on it.
