Sticky sweet stuck on seat
« on: 27 August 2008, 12:04 »
As above, I have what i thought was chewing gum but is actually a very sticky sweet stuck on the surface of my back seat ( Bloody kids). It has gone hard on the surface but I'm having trouble getting it all off. any suggestions to help remove it.

Freeze it then break it up into bits. An air duster thingy would do it, as would a plumbers freezer spray etc. Worst case, put an ice cube on it then break the sweet up into bits and sweep them off.

Works on chewing gum.

cornish pixie suggested this before... works on other stuff so don't see a reason why it wouldnt work on car upholstery
