Used a megs g220 today
« on: 26 August 2008, 18:26 »
I finally got round to using using my new megs g220 and im very happy with it. Really easy to use and brings out good results too!

heres a few pics:

Used my new poorboys polish and sealant today aswell and they seem pretty good but only time will tell i also added a layer of collonite wax which took some elbow grease.

Also megs endurance tyre gloss seems to holding up alright is still beading water after about 3 weeks!

well i used poorboys ssr1 and that did remove minor swirls and scratches but might paintwork aint the best in world quite a few scratches and scuffs so ill think ill have to move to something like ssr2 or srr2.5 next time but i would deffo reccomend a g220 to anyone im only a begginer to this detailing lark lol and the g220 couldnt have been easier to use

Looking great there Dan34!

Thumbs up on the G220, I'm hearing lots of good things about it and desperately trying not to invest until my garage is built.

You've looked after that Golf and you should be proud. Even the wheels are spotless, and I know from experiance how hard they are to clean
