« on: 10 April 2021, 14:14 »
Hello all
Does anyone know what these holes are for in the photo. I'm looking for a good spot the fit a dash cam but don't know what they are for?

Cheers

Not sure to be honest, but I like to fit my dash cam behind the mirror where I can never see it or know it's there.

Just ventilation for the rain/light sensor that is not even needed as the trim is not tight to the glass.

No, the sensors for the alarm are in the dome light housing so you're safe.

The housing is around the rain, light & humidity sensor attached to the windscreen.

The rain and light parts work at the front, through the windscreen..... If you block those vents up you could well stop the humidity sensor reading correctly, this could lead to misting or fogging of the windscreen/ windows as the humidity sensor does not get the air to send it's instruction to the climate control to adjust correctly.
