Intercooler options mk7 GTI stage 2

Does anyone know if an oem golf R IC is good enough for stage 2? I know it’s slightly bigger!
Another option was a twin cooler to piggyback my stock IC?
I don’t run the car hard much and we hardly get much warm weather up north so....?

The stock R cooler would make no real gains for the effort of installation.
To be honest, you're better off just running the stock cooler at those levels, especially with the relatively cool climate you are in.
There was a topic created a few days ago asking the same questions.
Have a look at some of the feedback

Thanks that’s great.
I figured the gains would be minimal but I am weighing up benefits per £ as the effort to fit isn’t an issue.
It was these twin coolers that caught my eye as the cost of those vs a full IC seems viable for the volume you’d gain?
