I have joined the forum with Neil because I have just purchased myself a 1.8 mk4 black gti and love it! I previously had a mk6 fiesta zetec s tdci which as you can imagine was not exactly quick.
When I got rid of the fiesta, I was adamant that I would not get a new one until at least the new year however, working in a modified insurance broker means that everybody has modified and quick cars, soooo the pressure got to me and that's when we found the new one.
The thread has been started to keep track of my build and for a few tips and opinions of what I can do.
I bought her for £1600, with 107k miles on the clock, full service history and a few bits of bodywork that need attention and no tax. First thing sorted was the tax and now she is booked in for a service next week.
I have a small wishlist but I am torn between a few roads to go down, this is where you guys can assist.
