My locknut adapter just rolled down the grid

 :'( :'( :'( :'( I cant get my wheels off  :-X. Anyone know anywhere that takes them off. It was the three prong in a triangle one. Or where i can buy a new one or get one made. Please help.  :'(

get one of those gator grip sockets. the one with loads of pins that go in/out depending on the bolt size. i think thats what the thieving scum use

The outsides of them spin around   >:(. Ive had the mole grips on em and everything. Drills coming out tomorow  :-\

I used a hammer and a metal punch, slowly twisting them off.

Had that problem aswel ::) binned em

Might try that aswel, going fishing tomorow with a magnet to try and salvage it. Dont reckon its gonner work but its a last resort before abraisive action   >:(

be careful near the grid.. and i'm not joking!!

a few months ago a young guy (20 ish) around here died while trying to get his phone out after he dropped it.. was found legs in the air.. think he drowned..... those things taper.. do not lean in!

locknuts are alloy arnt they? ... so magnet aint going to help.  Faced with a similar problem a while a go: angle grind a slot then liberally apply hammer and cold chisle in an anitclockwise direction.

Another way that's a bit more forceful, but if your nuts are tight (oih oih !!), it's the best way.

Get a socket and extension bar you don't need that's just too small to fit over the face of the bolt and smack it on with a hammer! Attach your driver and away you go ...

Worked a treat for me in the pass  ;D

Take it too a wheel specilist, They can take them off for you.
