what happened to PVW's Project Rallye

ok, so it's my 1000 post so I thought I would make it a waffle-y one  

I was driving home last night on the A14 near Cambridge and what do I see in the distance.... PerformanceVW magazine's old Project Rallye

I remember it being up for sale a while back and Supergolf's had it for sale again recently for about 10k! Anyway, I cruise along side it and man does it look good! Bloke driving it looks at me, see's what I am driving and smiles We messed about overtaking each other for a while then I came off into Cambridge.

Just wondered if anyone knows who owns it? It's such a sweet car that it would be good to see around more often

What happened to the MK1 that was being built into a Cerbera...  TVR??  I remember seeing the fist steps a while ago and everyday wonder how beautiful it could really be...
