From what I can see, the Cupra Ateca has a Cupra badge and the Cupra Leon ST has a Seat badge.... Looking at a youtube review of the Ateca, there are also still a few 'Seat' bits in the info system. Perhaps I am a bit harsh given that they are in the process of changing over but I thought it would be a bit slicker.

Cupra Ateca  is nice, a little quicker than a GTI. Seem to be some good deals on them too

Seat/Cupra need to sort their marketing out. If you try and configure a Cupra Leon ST, you get an image of the car with a Seat badge on the bonnet/boot.... The Ateca looks to have it right, to be fair. It ain't quite Toyota/Lexus (yet).

The current Cupra does have a Seat badge, doesn't it?

The next iteration won't

Yes, the current Leon Cupra is still badged as a Seat - albeit the colour of the Seat logo on the front grille, tailgate, steering wheel and the centre caps of the wheels are now copper coloured rather than chrome.

SEAT haven't stopped making them though, just under the Cupra brand name. Bound to be some crossover of logos/branding.

Back to your original post though - could be more cost effective to set up an Uber account for your father?!

Range Rover Evoque Si4 is an extremely good engine with 237bhp and 251lf ft of torque.  Mine also came with 9 speed auto and made it a bloody decent ride.
Deep Black Pearl Mk7 GT TDI 150.

You will also have to fork out 700 quid for lumber support in the Evoque (elec seats). The T-Roc doesn't have lumbar as standard either but its a wee bit cheaper to spec.....
