Got to leave it alone for a few days to more appreciate the improvement

Yeah that's my thinking too.....it might make it back to Merthyr (about 30 miles) then mapped

First mod for it has already arrived  :lipsrsealed:

Collection is arranged for TOMORROW AFTERNOON!!!

Also the sun shades have arrived and I won a complete set of genuine rubber mats for LESS than the price of just the fronts  :smug:

And I sold the rear lights from the A3 :afro:

Crappy pics but you get the idea

The business end

First mod was to remove the damaged window tints and replace with the sun shades like I had on the A3

Shades in place

Done a few VCDS tweaks

Next up is 4 new tyres and 4 wheel alignment as the steering wheel is slightly off
Won a complete set of genuine rubber mats
Ordered some LED interior bulbs and some shiny tyre valve caps
Also considering a private plate..... :lipsrsealed:

Not yet.  Going to leave it a week or two to make sure there are no underlying issues with it.  VCDS scan showed everything to be ok but then it went to a VW specialist for its MOT.....  had to have been a tidy MOT mind as to pass it they fitted two cheap tyres to the front in order to pass it   Part of my deal was a complete set of tyres of MY choice so they've had to pay out for 6 new tyres

First job is to fit a complete set of new UniRoyal's and 4 wheel alignment; make sure all the wheels are pointing straight before asking them to cope with more power

Yeah i love mapping 4x4's; stuff that big shouldn't be THAT quick

The A6 is definitely a few steps up from the A3 and lo and behold it actually has some steering feel!!
