You know it! Wheels are first thing to sort out. then lower..... then use it!

I just thought it had much more going for it then the usual brit conversion sh!t, Holdsworths, Autosleepers and the like

My Great uncle approved, he had a split, 3 bays, 1 holdsworth t25, 1 t25 cheater, and t4 coachbuilt (which he apparently still has stored after only using it for a year!) so yeah, im happy!

Looks nice and early, so if it's a 2.1 you should have the 112bhp DJ code motor, rather than the 95bhp MV mit Katalysator.

Obviously Subaru EJ20 with a big, fat blower on it is the way forward, on a Smallcar bellhousing and kit from: http://www.smallcar.com/index.php - sadly better than the UK-sourced RJES bits.

Oh and then you'll need a big brake conversion and the only place to go for one of those is http://www.futbus.com/

Who also have a cable-change gearshift in development for the T25 that will remove all that slackness in the 10' rod change system on there by default.

If VW hadn't obsoleted all the T25 Syncro gearbox internals I'd still be bouncing about in one now.
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.
