I still have my early Vento front end, but I'm loving the golf front end right now :) at least once the debadged grill is gone lol!

Thanks brett :) progress is going slow at the moment, I am restoring a BMW E30 Cab so I have no time for my self until that is done!

Finally finished the E30 I have been working on for the past month!

How it started



Now its all finished :)





And a small update on the 16v, I removed the Golf GTI and 16v badges from the rear lamp finisher and gave the quarter panel a flat and polish whilst I was at it!













Today I also picked up an alternator,belt, bracket and bolts from a GTI 8v so I can delete the roller tensioner to clean up the bay a little bit! It also mounts the alternator lower allowing for ITB clearance at a later date ;)

Next weekend I will be changing the cam belt and tensioner and getting the timing done, so I will change the alternator at the same time! More updates to follow....................
