Hi guys, I own a MK3 in the UK but am selling it in the coming months as I have moved to Spain. I have found, what seems to be, a decent looking Mk1 GTD (1.6 turbo diesel, no?) for sale in Girona.
Was wondering if there was anything I should look out for, particularly related to the GTD model. Also any info on spec in relation to other models?
It's only had 1 owner up until last year, with the current one intending to keep it as a project before realising that this wasn't financially viable. It has a full service history, has been a local car since new in 1981, has been resprayed and will be put through the Spanish MOT prior to purchase. The only problem stated by the owner is a broken stereo.
For 1,500 Euros, does this seem too good to be true?
