you can get them for £61.64 on vagparts, not sure how much delivery is but can't see it being £15

who was it that came up with an easy way to get the old ones off, using some plumbing tool or something?

Mine came off easy? Bit of man muscle, but they came off. All you need to do is pull them off the thread.
