As title decided last night that i'm removing my neuspeed ind kit
and re-fitting the oem airbox with dsg upgrade rang trade parts specialists and ordered up the 3 parts required for
£34.21 bit cheaper than the stealers
and should be in in the morning after 8.30 found my oem airbox this morning and gave it a clean up just got to start smoothing it out for all thats done the mod i noticed in the top of the cover where the maf sensor fits in that there is a trumpet type resonator that looks like it can be unclipped
i presume this is as said purely a resonator
have any of you removed this? as it looks like the maf slides into this but removing it the area looks like it will seal anyway well thats me sorted for tomorrow
and may look at painting the top cover of the airbox also
