Alright chappies, just wondering, can i get a quote on a remap on a seat toledo V5 engine, just to get rid of the flat spot and maybe a few extra ponies although am not too bothered about this, mostly just a nice smooth power curve and eliminating the bleeding flat bit. (2-3k)

Hello,

What year is you Teledo V5? some of the v5 software revision has an inherant flat spot which can be mapped out to produce a smoother pull.

Do you do this for the V5 Passat 170 (2001)? Also looking to improve the pull.

I have just had a quote from AmD who can remap and bump the figure by 14-18bhp for 299.95 inc vat and rolling road runs. Mid range is much stronger snd improved throttle response and fuel economy.

Asked about exhaust systems and he said be careful as changing the exhaust on the V5 can be vert boomy unless proerly muffled.

Hope this helps you too Alex.

No worries fella. I was looking for pretty much the same. Milltek don't do them so I may not worry too much about the exhaust for now.

Hello M8,

Not been getting emails when people reply to threads I have posted in? so I keep finding stuff like this ..sorry. :embarassed:

99-00 was the ecu change over, Power gains are around 10bhp/12bhp & 16nm/18nm max, throttle will be sharper and crisper ans the power will be smoother.  A good performance exhaust will complement the remap well.

Price for the remap will be around £200 all inc,

Nick
