GTI Luxury Velour Mats

Hi Folks,

Just wondering if anyone had the RHD part number for 5G1061270 AHY, the luxury mats that were an option on the car with the red stripe and small GTI badge on them? I had the white ones with golf on them in my GTD and would love the red set this time.

These are really difficult to get hold of!
I got lucky and managed to bag a set from the 'for sale' section on here.

When you quote this part number to a dealer, they'll tell you they are plain black and they don't come with a red pin strip and GTi badge (well, mine did!)

Thanks! It's so weird they're so readily available for the LHD cars but not RHD, just more cost cutting for a smaller RHD market.

I saw them on Kunzmann ages ago and thought 'yes; get them ordered!!' and then thought bugger; they ain't gonna fit

Still on the search for these, just wondered if you quote the full number and end letters to the dealer will they come red?

Have tried myself for these mats all the local vow garages in ni no joy

Managed to source a set of these mats today locally not cheap but  look well compared to the plain black  ones

Just out of interest, what is the going rate for these now? Are they only available secondhand?

I took mine out some time ago to store them and use rubber mats instead!

Anybody tried Diamond Car Mats, they look impressive but at the price I would hesitate to buy without knowing how good they are.
