XS Power
« on: 16 April 2012, 12:05 »
What does everyone think about XS Power turbos, manifolds etc? Are they any good. Rtech said they have dealt with cheaper eBay turbos and not had problems.

This is the link http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=215362.0 what you lot think of XS power K04's or T3/T4 then? Considering a purchase.

i've heard one or two good things about their turbos, but dozens of bad things too. Worst one was a turbo that sh!t itself after driving 10 yards

as for the manifolds, chinese mass production for cheapness leads to substandard materials being used and unskilled welding. They don't hold up well to the heat produced. There is a reason good tubular manifolds cost so much money!

Also if I got a bigger turbo I.e K04 I would need bigger injectors. Is a bigger MAF a must with bigger injectors?
