Has the OP just bought a substantial amount of Dacia shares and is trying to convert us to sell perfectly good cars and buy this Korean (? I presume) crap? Or just trying to justify a bad decision purely for a 7 year warranty?

I'm pretty sure decent second hand cars can be had for less, with the excess cash more than covering the potential repairs over a 7 year period Just saying.

Very easy, a guy bought a car with his own money. But its not made by vw or a manufacturer owned by vw so the car gets the Wayne 'why have you bought a Peugeot beemer and rover' treatment.

I know a bloke who does alright for himself, not loaded but does well enough to buy his son's a 1.4 Petrol Golf MK6 some years back for £9K cash and gave his other son his MK6 Bluemotion and paid the 7.5K finance off so not exactly short of a few quid.

Had an X5 but swapped it for a Tiguan and has a 911 in the garage.

He's just bought a Fiat Panda as a run about because he likes them....

Can see why, cheap car with warranty just to chuck sh!t down the tip and the like and not worry about it.

I got a taxi ride from Haslach to Bahlingen in a Dacia tdi a distance of about 40k.
The driver was an old woman and she kept it on full boost throughout.
Was a fun drive in a horrid car which you would not have thought possible
