MPG down a little today on way in due to traffic conditions  :rolleyes:

MPG 1 59.1
MPG 2 64.1

I must get a GTD :drool: :drool: :drool:
I must as well with those mpg figures?

Snoops gets better MPG from his GTI than you get from your GTD - has to be down to duty / driving style  :wink:

100 odd miles each way, 61.8 mpg on the way down and 60.9mpg on the way back. Never broke 70mph. I was very patient today, must been some good tunes on the Mway. Proud!! J11 of the M5 to J25 of the M5 then to Yeovil. Its quoting 700 to the tank.
Diagonally parked in a parallel universe.
On Order: Mk8 R, Pure White, Reversing Camera, Harmon Kardon, Heated seats all round.
Gone: Mk7.5 R, 5dr, DSG, Deep Pearl Black, 18” Cadiz, Nav, Winter Pack, Keyless, Dynaudio and Reversing camera.
Gone: Mk7 R, 5dr, DSG, Limestone Grey, 19" Pretoria's, Nav Pro, DCC, Winter Pack, Keyless, Mobile Prep and Reversing Camera.
Gone: Mk6 GTD, 5dr, Manual, Tornado Red, 18" Vancouvers, RCD510 + Dynaudio, heated seats.

66.7 mpg this morning and I did my 35 mile drive starting with 35 miles range (thanks to my lovely wife  :angry:)  and yet still ended up with 15 miles remaining when I arrived at work  :wink:

47 on the way home though  :grin:

No she nicks my motor of a weekend and uses up my fuel  :grin:


Got 62.5 on the way in as it was raining (negative impact on MPG  :sad:)

The dealer whos had the car for the past two days managed to do 17.7
Mk6 GTI  &  Mk1 GTI
