After some serious body work repair I am now at the point where I want to re-apply the gti sill vinyl on my mk3.
Anyone have any ideas on the best way to go about this?

I made some research and not exactly sure what car it is but this can be used as a guide I guess. Check this out, may be it can help

Thanks for your reply. Useful video.
Issue I have it’s as I have removed the original sill stickers (gti marked ones from the mk3) they no longer have the glue on and need heating to make them supple again. Just looking for the best way to get these back on as you can’t source new ones anymore.

Ah, I see.
There is almost nothing on the internet about restoring used vinyl mate. Sorry
I hope you can reapply them without any problems.

Thank you for trying for me. Think will wait until it’s a little warmer out before I try and put them back on.

No problem, I wish I could be of more help.

I'd say your safest bet is to go to a decent vinyl wrapper who should be able to replicate the stripe from the original/the other side.

Having it redone in a car shop is more practical.
