any ideas on where the  immobiliser control unit is on  my 8v? :nerd:

it will be an aftermarket immobiliser and it could be fitted any where!! behind the glovebox and center console are popular places

take the bottom tray off from underneath the steering wheel, (The one with the fusebox lid in it. You should find a black box slightly largert than a fag packet tucked up and near the column or the fusebox somewhere. That'll be your immobiliser control unit.
