Title: getting a car from europe registered

hi guys looking for advise
im in the process of buying a unregistered 20 year old car
there is no docs with it and I'm told i need a certificate of authentication for it
does anyone no where i would get this from and the cost

You should be able to get a certificate of approval from the manufacturer (at a cost). There are other options on that page if you click through it.

When you say unregistered do you mean never registered in the UK or never registered anywhere in its life?
