You need pro to code in a battery in adapations.
You can pick up a NextGen with Pro on Amazon for about £70

What's the difference between the regular and the pro?. It's difficult to find out online a solid list as to what each does. I know the pro does long coding but is that just for professionals to mess with?

If I got one the things I know I'd want to do is - Code new batteries myself, try Audi throttle response, turn off fake engine sounds etc

Tells you on their site what advantages the Pro has https://obdeleven.com/en/nextgen

Worth getting the pro as it does much more, the next gen is considerably quicker as well.

Can I ask why a battery will need coding please?
I got caught out with a flat battery recently and had no option but to go to Halfords. One of their guys fitted it for me as I was in a rush, he never coded it.

It lets the car know what it should be charging to, that it should adapt the charging rate, etc
