Clubsport s pads
« on: 10 August 2020, 20:08 »
Hi
Quick question.Iam going to put some Clubsport S discs on my Clubsport ED40.Its because my standard discs are so rusty I can't look at them anymore!
Question is ...my pads have a load of life left so do I need to upgrade to a pads or will the ED40 pads work ok with the S discs?Road use only no track use.

I wouldn't even think about using old pads on new discs.
The old pads, will have been through many heat cycles, maybe contaminated with rust?
The old pads will have grooves from wear in the old discs, which will wear into and shorten the life of your new expensive discs.
New CS S pads would be a decent performance upgrade with the new discs anyway.

The CSS discs will rust even more quickly!
