What's a good camera for around £100??

OK, so I know some of you have ridiculously expensive/tasty equipment, so if you do...please don't mock me :( haha. Anyway...planning on going on holiday in August, want a cam I can take along for pics and stuff. I really have no clue about cameras (except optical zoom is better than digital...I think  :lipsrsealed: :lipsrsealed:) so if you could hook me up with some links to good cameras that aren't too expensive. I know you get what you pay for etc, but I just want a camera that will take decent shots with some decent functions.
Cheers,
Rich

This is what I have got

http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00171WICE/70000777g-21/

Fujifilm S5700 and is pretty damn good value for money. It's not quite a DSLR but more advanced than a compact. I have taken some good shots with it on Auto and manual.Well worth the money.
