Title: Rear Damage!!!

Hello

i had a lil bump in my golf gti and the boot corner and the panel where the golf gti badge is pushed in alittle, has any1 had this and how much to repair ???

I once had to sort out a Micra back end with a block of wood and a sledge hammer whilst standing in the boot.

Was crunched up badly by a van rear ending it.

Worked a treat and later wasn't picked up on an MOT. Was only just noticeable to the eye if you knew the backend of one well, very slight buldge where I went a little to far.

Takes time and patients to get it looking spot on, but can be done.

Try getting a suction cup onto it. Find your mums old mincer if she still has one, they are the perfect suction cup if anything is going to pull out a dent.

All the best on getting it sorted with the minimum amount of fuss  :smiley:

Decs was like this when he bought it, if i remember correctly a rubber mallet just knocked it back, and now u cant tell the damage.
