To be fair, I do know a lot of people who still have glove boxes full of CDs. But, these people also tend to have older cars as well.
However, I think things are sufficiently established in the world of MP3 that people should just move with the times. Digital music is so accessible, and with software like "Easy CD-DA Extractor", ripping CDs, converting between formats, and removing DRM is a doddle. I bought a 32GB SD card recently and it cost something like £16. Most people use laptops these days, and most laptops have an SD card slot, so copying music around is simple too.
