I know this isnt going to interest many people at all but I would quite like to keep a record of what I do to this car.
I was offered this at a great price and the seller was happy to store it for a month for me as well, so I couldnt refuse.
Initial plan was to use it to reshell my 1.8t into a 3 door shell, but i am starting to love my other golf because it is a 3 door rather than despite it. Plus this is too stock to mess with I think.
I was having a look on the usual sales places and there really are not many totally stock cars around at all, so it seems a shame to mess with this one, just for the hell of it.
So here it is...
The main issue with it are that the engine was sat in the boot, and the paint is a mess, proper faded.
The picture shows the results of a few hours hand polishing, I am going to get it machine polished after it is MOT'd.
The engine is now in but other projects have taken priority at the minute, so watch this space as they say
