Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

Yeah looks like it is £20 a year.

Its becoming more and more tempting, as the performance gap is decresing between the D and I.

Still not sure though.

Still not sure on the looks, might need to see one in the flesh or a few different colour / wheel combo's.

Still probably be an Audi A6 estate for the next set of wheels.

The on paper performance gap is likely to remain the same.

I would have thought VW wont want to cannabalise the GTI market...

Interesting about the fuel economy they are stating that the 67.3mpg is better by 12mpg than the old GTD, meaning its only 55mpg. Well I thought the original as 40 something bottom, 53.3mpg middle and 65mpg top. So does that mean the top is going to be higher than 67.3mpg and thats the middle figure?? If so wow. Otherwise the outside doesn't look that nice, it certainly needs better wheels.
