HOW TO: Replace your pollen filter
« on: 24 December 2011, 17:23 »
Needed to do mine, so I thought I'd take a few pics so that I could do a write up for anyone else interested

This is a very simple job, takes no more than 5minutes, n only requires a 'X' headed screw driver :afro:

First you need to remove these two bits of trim, don't know what they're called, but the little foam thing, n the long rubber strip.

Then get your screwdriver and unscrew the four screws on the plastic panel.

To remove the trim, will require some gentle persuasion

This will then expose your old pollen filter

In the picture you can see two plastic tabs on the front, unclip these and ease the filter up out of its housing.

Twist the filter anti-clockwise 90' degrees to pull it out.

Look at the difference between the old and the new filter

Reverse the process to install your new filter, leaving you with something that looks like this

Attach all your trim back together and stand back and admire! :smug:
