Took it for a drive. Essential of course as it was to do a supermarket shop. First time both myself and the car had been out for a week . It was good though, weather was lovely, had the sunroof open and on the odd occasion when I could give the right pedal a bit of a poke the car responded in a very satisfactory manner with the exhaust giving just the right bark . Such a shame it's just sitting there but it makes every drive extra special, and fun!

With the roads being so empty, been able to give it some beans on the way to work. Must admit the combination of a pedal box and a Racechip RS makes the daily commute much more fun (I am classed as a key worker BTW).  290+ bhp on a standard 7.5 GTI make the TC flash in 3rd on a cold morning

Normally I'd invest in some better rubber to stop the axel hop, but as the car is leased I'll have to make do with the Bridgestones
