wots the best stuff to clean me engine with??

Autoglym Engine and Machine cleaner will do the job or go for something like Meguairs Super Degreaser.

Spray on, agitate with a brush; leave for a few minutes and then rinse off :afro:

Use cling film to cover all of your sensitive engine components prior to applying your engine degreaser. A garden sprayer filled with warm water is a good way of rinsing without flooding the engine bay with water from a hose.

...I just use petrol, cheaper than any autoglym stuff, and works a treat.

I have a brutal steam cleaner, but don't bother using it on the engine (its too high pressure), plus it gets dirty 10mins later anyway, stupid road salt!
