Bora V5 - Thanks Sky (once again!)
« on: 30 October 2013, 12:03 »
Hi all,

It's that time of year again, renewal is due on 10th November so less than two weeks. I've had a call from Sky Insurance, who seem pretty competitive.

HIC are my current insurers and I'm yet to see what they offer.

If you're interested in giving me a quote let me know and I'll PM my number.

Cheers

Kirk

Lols i like this move. Instead of chasing them, get them to chase you.
I have to give it to sky insurance. I have been with them for 3 years now and they have always been the cheapest and habe today quoted me happy
Big up to sky insurance ( i think it was luke i spoke with)

Well apart from Sky Insurance, no one chased me. So I did the chasing (typical).

So far the best quote I've had is from Adrian Flux. I know one of you cheeky insurers would be happy to put me below £400...

Adrian Flux - £420
Greenlight Insurance - £444
Sky Insurance - £460
HIC - £460 (current insurer)

Have you tried Brentacre? They were nearly half the price of the next cheapest for me

If our rate has been beaten (often we find some insurers will use our rate and knock a few ££ off to secure the business), then please refer back to us.

You are welcome to PM me your details

Thanks

I agree with ollie. They gave me a renewal quote of 610 or so and then after talking with luke (i think) they nocked 110 off, which i was more than happy. Brentacre rang me today morning gave a better quote (10 cheaper) but their axcess (think thats how you spell it) was 350 wereas skys was 250. So im staying with sky for anotuer year (3-4 years now)

I phoned Brentacre today and had no joy with them. They admitted Adrian Flux's price was very good.

I've been with both Adrian Flux and Sky in the past and I know Adrian Flux  gave me a £200 excess along with like-for-like mods (not sure if Sky do this too?).

Anyway, I have contacted Ollie to get in touch with me and see if they can better it but if not then Adrian Flux will be where I go.
