Title: Fault codes
Post by: mattc69 on 08 October 2019, 19:07
Any help appreciated.

My MK6 2.0 tdi has an orange coil light coming up on the dash and the car keeps stuttering. The MFD says 'Engine Fault'. I've had the fault codes read and these 2 keep coming up -

2813 - Accelerator Position Sensor (G79)
           P2122 00 (040) - signal too low

4891 - EGR Valve (N18)
           P0403 00 (096) - Malfunction

Anybody had this before please ?

Sounds like you need a new pedal - these are easy to change - and an EGR valve

Google the codes mate, widely discussed and resolved

Well, cars been into VW dealer. They’ve said there was a bulletin on the throttle pedal wiring/connector which they’ve done and it’s sorted the fault out. Anybody know what the bulletin is about please ??
