I need that red wheel mitt in my life. Still using the day-glo lurid green prototype version.

True. Even when you don't want them too.
Do you know my original thumbed WoWo mitt is still going strong. I've NEVER had a lambswool mitt last that long without falling apart around the thumb area.

Ordered! This is a great deal and I really need the wheel mitt

Great deal, I'd be putting an order in were it not for the fact I have all these products already and I'm utterly convinced of their longevity that there's no need!!
Look forward to seeing what other payday bundles you'll be putting together Neil

Hi all, new to the forum but I've been lurking for a while as I've recently ordered a GTi.
It's the Detailing section that has tempted me to join as I've found it quite educational and just wanted to say thanks to you guys and girls for the guides, and also to Neil for the offer - it's brilliant for a newbie like me and I ordered it a couple of days ago.
Cheers!

Hello Steve
Welcome to the forum and welcome to the detailing section.
I'm glad you are finding information in this section useful. There's some great advice from members in here and it's nice to be able to pass that onto newcomers. I don't doubt you'll be dong the same in due course. Look forward to seeing your new GTI when you get it, and hearing about your detailing exploits.
I'm sure Neil will tell you himself, but the WoWo October Payday offer is exactly what you need if just starting out in detailing to make it easier to get a good cleaning regime going. They are the perfect products and the quality and performance is second to none, and the best introduction to looking after your new car properly. Wish this had been available when I was starting out!

Welcome to the dark side of detailing! You will now judge things on how they smell before going on your car!!!
As Bec says the set is exactly what you need, the next one will probably be a polish set so will include a MF set and clay bar, which are also worthy additions to your collection.
Cheers

Cheers guys
My GTi was ordered about a week ago and is on a 14-16 week delivery (mid Feb, argh!) so I'll be ordering the clay kit when it appears and getting some practise in the meantime... a fairly large Christmas order from somewhere like cleanyourcar will be on the cards too!
-
I know it must seem ages, but that's a relatively short wait time. My wait was 35 weeks! As you say, time for you to practice on something else.
Cleanyourcar is a brilliant website, and my go to place for pretty much everything except WoWo and a few other bits. The service is ace, most of the time stuff is in stock, a massive choice, and the guys there seem great too. Good choice.

New to the Forum and detailing to be honest. Received the phone call today to say my new car has arrived with my dealer, so Payday offer ordered along with the Micro Fibre Set. Not picking it up for a fortnight due to work and a couple of other messy jobs I need to do in the old company run about first

Nice one and thanks. This will be the longest two weeks ever!

Hi Sokkia, welcome to the forum, and the detailing section. What car are you getting? Look forward to seeing your car when the 2 weeks are finally up. Smart move, getting the dirty jobs out of the way before the new car turns up.

Hi Booth, waiting on a 5 door manual GTI in carbon grey, completely standard as VW intended it  in other words my dealer had one on order that fitted perfectly with my company car lease expiring at the end of November. Ordered it about 4 to 5 weeks ago so another two weeks won't make any odds to me. To be honest carbon grey was the colour I wanted, top of my list of colours anyway and through car wow and some on top haggling managed a good deal. A few options I would have had in an ideal world but timescales fitted with this car and didn't want to look for short term lease if I could help it, and it kept the cost down which keeps the wife happy. Can't wait to pick it up but tip runs to do first once the plasterers get finished, no way that's going in the new car and the wife's car is only 4 months old so she would kill me if I chucked a load of building rubbish in the back of hers.

Very nice. Carbon Grey's my second favourite colour and probably the best with the red stripe of the GTI. Standard spec is great now it has nav, keyless and winter pack as standard. That's super quick too.
Noo! You are very wise to keep anything with plaster dust away from both cars. That would get into every crevice!!!
Really looking forward to seeing your GTI in a couple weeks.

Hope my Mrs has got this sorted for Christmas and not just a voucher for a clothes shop!

You could always give her a not subtle hint as the code won't be deactivated until Monday in case there are a few stragglers.
