But for the purest engine experience, displacement has no replacement. All other methods are simply attempts to artificially recreate the benefits of displacement.

That sucks, are you getting a more practical replacement then ?


I've already bought one - its practical, but with a fun engine: An E46 330i M-Sport - Four doors, big boot, comfy, and more or less as fast as the Corrado.

One odd thing, in two weeks of ownership I've had more people trying to race me in the beemer than in 3 years of the Corrado. Lots of VXR astra's, Seat Leon's and Focus ST's, that kind of thing. I might get the rear 330i badge removed.
