I’m going for a grey/black 3 door to replace our R hatchback. The R estate will stay for family duties.

Really excited about it, think VW have nailed it, great price and not so hard edged that it isn’t useable day-to-day.

I was tempted by black but you lose the stripes and the detailing

Similarly to you the 5 door is staying as not really used

Seems a real buzz about them which I think has been helped by the reviews
