Gave it a thorough interior clean because it was totally disgusting.  Tried Gtechniq Tri-clean on the whole interior. Found it very good on seats and textured plastics etc, but rubbish on piano gloss trim, left a smeary residue which required too much buffing to effectively remove. Was ok on carpet.  Very antiseptic smell which I didn’t mind.

I gave the Mk6 it`s second wash this week.

I`m sure it`ll be filthy again by Sunday.

Finally cleaned after nearly 9 weeks neglect.  Lots of commitments, crap weather, other stuff meant the car had had to take a back seat (pardon pun), but good to have a return to form, no matter how short-lived it may be.

As ever, the key is touchless pre-wash stages.

Before

Essential touchless pre-wash gear (prior to wheel and 2 bucket wash) - Bilberry Wheel Cleaner; Orange Degreaser; ValetPro Citrus Pre-Wash; ValetPro Advanced Snow Foam;

Snow foam

Citrus Pre-wash

After

Now that looks better! How are you finding the Detail Guardz Rebecca?

As it’s a (relatively speaking) warm day today (12-13*c), l also washed mine this morning. It’s now looking clean and shiny again

The Detail Guardz are great!  Just pop them under the wheels and forget about them.  No pressure hose catching at all.  Love ‘em.

Fantastic transformation! Mine will have to wait a bit longer, too many competing factors for me too. I dont't think I've ever missed two whole months between cleans! Perhaps next weekend.

Still no shiny pictures SR? I'm sure it'll be another top job though

Sorry Watts, no shiny pictures, but you’ve seen what it looks like after I’ve cleaned it. Perhaps I need to put some ‘before’ pictures up next time showing what it looks like dirty!

Looks fantastic Rebecca!

Gave mine a quick wash.

Then got to work on this - snow foam, wash, decotamination, single stage machine polish and a ceramic coating. Only a few month old but had been poorly washed.. Looking as it should now!

Looks great Jim.

That’s some achievement to wash yours and do a full decon, single stage polish and ceramic coating on the L/R in a day (which looks like a top job!). I’m not usually a fan of black wheels, but they look perfect on the Land Rover.

Edit; is the Land Rover model a Range Rover Sport?
