Title: You Like? Not Bad for Under £250 all in!
Post by: Ashmond on 01 November 2010, 10:20
Right this weekend I went down to Portsmouth to pick up a set of cream leather recaros from an edition38 member. didnrt know how Cream would look with my all black car but for the price I couldnt actually say no. They were in need of a clean and maybe a repair kit. These were the pictures before I went to go get them:

We got cream leather in our orange GTi and it looks mint, always liked cream interiors, just keep it clean, pain in the ass but its worth it!

Always wanted leathers, only went over it with some cheap carplan cleaner, going to get in touch with somebody who knows what they are doing to bring them back up to scratch. bargain though. Stands out so much from the black

I've just used the maguires leather care and conditioner yesterday on my yellow/black front leather seats and honestly its the very best i've ever seen them come up! I used to use the Auto-glym stuff but theres just no comparison how well theyve came up this time!

Get some Maguires on them and they'll be spot on!!! I think i'm going to stick some pics on my Project Page tonight to show how well theyve came up if you want to see what i mean

did you not get the door cards?

how much would a full black leather recaro interior with the door cards go for in good condition? for a 5 door

Didnt get doorcards, problem for my car espcially is that its a 1.4e originally (manual windows) so the doorcards dont fit anyway, because my car is dark inside, black interior, black dyes roofliner and tints the cream seats stand out but not too much. Very happy with them, so much more comfy then the seats that have been in the car 9 years! Have been driving a 280 brake car with these, to say i have not been held in is an understatment!

lol, driving from passenger seat, mates old ax was the same, had a 16v out of a saxo so it flew, but had basic 1.0 bench seats.

its nice to have the recaros stand out a bit, mine are black so dont really stand out as recaros, suppose its best for the tea leaves tho

the audi steering wheel and arm rest I completely agree with. Need a gti steering wheel although holding out for a mk5 r32 one tbh! Armrest going cream. Doorcards staying as they are
