gtb2260vk conversion
« on: 26 November 2013, 18:53 »
Hey guys, posting on behalf of a mate really, I'm usually found in the mk4 section. Cant say I've had much experience modding oil burners so I thought I'd ask here.  I know darkside sell a gtb2260vk conversion for the mk5 pd170, but my mate is a tight b*stard so he's got hold of a gtb2260vk from a vw phaeton cheap. I know he's gonna need a exhaust manifold, downpipe and some modified coldside pipework just to make the thing fit. Plus the usual supporting mods (better exhaust, intercooler, etc)  Am I right in thinking he's gonna need the actuator from his old turbo (gt17) along with a 4 bar map sensor too? Anything else I've missed?
