this is her when got her:

and this is her now:

before i swapped grille:

mods so far then...

fully rebuilt GTI head,Cam, exhaust manifold, downpipe and k jet dizzy
Weber carb
custom intake arm
uprated headlight loom
full stainless
10mm quad core leads and super 4 plugs
K&N panel filter
GTI interior (need matching doorcards!)
luisi steering wheel
Jetta front end
Black bonnet (looks much better with black wheels too, watch this space...)
german pressed plates and wurth plate holders

...um, there is more, but cant remember it all right now  :embarassed:

has been through a few sets of wheels and interiors etc but am more or less happy with it atm.

however, in the pipe line is:

small (10p size) bit of welding underneath
2.0 bottom end (uprated pistons etc)
fully ported and polished gti head with larger exhaust valves
fully port matched and polished exhaust manifold and port matched inlet manifold
knife edged lightened and balanced crank
lightened and balanced flywheel
1.6 shorter ratio 'box
Twin 45's
288 shrick cam
vernier pulley
50 shot of nitrous

am hoping to hit around 150BHP mark without NOS  and around the same figure of torque.

any thoughts/comments etc are more than welcome

cheers,

Dean
