Do you have to book your track time in advance or is it pay on the day?

Also just looked on there website and it doesnt really state which dates are for the public

Buy ticket, put in barrier, away you go.  Check for 7-second ring king on Youtube.

Look for Touristfahren or TF

Read this: http://northloop.co.uk/newbies.htm

Watch some of these:

Chuff is a big laydee and is too scared to go out there.

The breakdown cover was just for the dates I was abroad and no it wouldn't cover track recovery, not sure if you can prebook lap tickets we just paid on the day at the office bang at the side of the start barriers.

2 of my mates took bikes and only did one lap but were more than happy watching everything else as it's just a petrolheads paradise!!

Passing the barriers means you're taking a big risk.

How confident are you about the condition of your car?

This sort of risk is why I like running a nice simple set up, which I'm confident about...... even if it was only installed two days before going on track.

Drive within your and your car's limits.

mechanical wise the car is very good, as i do motorway journeys everyday, serviced regular and not running stupid power. Only got a K03s on a r-tech map running 230bhp and 256lb/ft torque. Which i believe is very reliable.

May I ask what this vxr vid is everyone apart from me knows about?

Is it on youtube?

Never noticed it was a few topics down, now found!

I would say the best bit of advice is to watch as many vids and play some xbox if you have it. It is by no way a substitute for the real thing but it can be helpful if you at least know what way the corner might go etc. Most of the corners on the Ring can be deceptive.

And also remember to check you mirror. There is always someone faster
