Track time @ Brands Hatch @ Prept.
« on: 22 June 2009, 09:28 »
The chaps who organise the Prept meet at brands hatch are trying to sort out some reaonably priced short bursts out on the track on the same night as the meet.

Thought this might interest a few folks on here. Thread is on E38 though which you have to be registered to read.

excellent! although 'pay per lap' would be sh!t and a waste of time. would also attract too many slow cars who are just in it for the 'experience' and will hold the proper cars up. i hope they do it as an evening session like their other days

I think it's more aimed at track virgins who want to crawl round in their show cars but thought some peeps on here might like to give it a go.

Dpepending on how it goes I'll book an afternoon off and go along if only to blow the show cars into the weeds with my shed, mwahahahahah!

i think its so that you dont have to pay the £100 or whatever it is for the whole night. you can pay £25 for 20mins so that you can see if you like it or not...

Yes, it's true I am VERY slow on road and on track.

If I get round to putting the Syncro on the road this year I might go along to bathe in the humiliation.
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

Holiday cottages on the Isle of Wight for 2-10 people? PM me.

As long as your smooth and don't go mental Alan you won't cook your brakes, muller your clutch or remove that much tread from your tyres.

santa pod does more damage to your car than trackdays do, you just wear out more consumables on track
