digi running rich

Hi all im ross, adim for Facebook group mk2 golf enthusiasts . I have mk2 golf gti 8v it has fast road cam and all is great! But I have started to get a running rich problem??? Its been re-set and is great for a while 500 miles or so then it runs rich but somehow???? Corrects itself?? But after a while it happens again !!?? I would like someone who knows there stuff not guess please!! Cheers!!!!

what are the symptoms that it is running rich?

The mix setting on the digifant PB engine is the hexagon set screw on the air filter box. (usually under a blue round plastic 'anti-tamper' cover that's about half an inch diameter.)

I would do all the set up and timing procedures first though as per the famous 'RJ guide', before adjusting the mix, and ideally you will need access to somebody to has an accurate CO test equipment.

bit odd for it to be going in and out of tune :huh:. is there any pattern to when this happens?
