DONT buy Pioneer

They are a pile of S**T.  I have had two subs from them and the have both broken with the same problem, and my head unit if F**KED and its all pioneer.  Never again

ive always used kenwood with no probs kicker are good too, sorry to hear of the probs bud

several freinds of mine have spent thousands on pioneer and none of them have ever had any problems i too have always had pioneer  and never had any thing go wrong ...

I must say in my experience pioneer has always turned out poo, esp in the speaker and head unit dept.

Alpine are the kiddies for head units in my opinion, and the v12 series are good amps, Rocky fosgate are meaty, Kicker are sweet (esp L7 square subs ) there are loadsa different companies but it would be interesting to hear of other peoples experiences with them and what they bought and how its sounds etc...

Think I am going to get a refund on the sub and get a JL or dimond something with a bit of class, style and performance, ill keep you informed

i gotta pioneer head unit never had a prob with it, but everything else is a mixture of JBL, Rockford, and Alpine..
