Never used wax before until yesterday. I used this:

http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/wax/collinite-no-476s-super-doublecoat-auto-wax/prod_207.html

Obviously can't comment on durability but it didn't half bring out the shine on my tornado red mk2

That will last months!!! Put another coat on once a week for the next 3 weeks and then leave it

Collonite is the best wax you can get for longevity mate. Has a relatively good finish as well. Its a very good winter wax, then have something like R222 wax for summer (last at the most two weeks!) but looks amazing for the cost!

Tip which all probably already know, if you dont have a lot of money for cleaning products then try and get one at ur budget! Using Carplan wax is USLESS! Started at 8am and still aint finished....I used a buffer to put it on which was easy and taking it off was another story! Even the buffer wont take it off! Argh am sooo annoyed...dont think its the buffer, its the flamin wax!!!!!
