18yr old insurance on mk2 GTI 16v

that was with my parents. lol. and the quotes i had were with admiral, bell, hic, adrian flux and on comparison sites.

but for me its cheaper to insure a 16v mk3 and with a years no claims (which ill get in jan) will be about 1500.

for a mk4 golf gti turbo ( im 18) was 3500!! :| and have not passed test yet. and 19 in under a month!! :Z

thought about a 1.6 driver or smaller instead?

I'm 20 I'm paying 2k third party on a mk2gti 8v been driving 3years 1 years noclaims no smashes or points. That's with out mods being under 21 you will get hammered !
